The PC is very slow.One of the processes takes a lot of CPU and memory resources.
N/A - General performance drop due to the high memory and CPU resource usage.
HP Client Manager 7.0 Sp2 and HPDiags.exe
KNOWN ISSUE with the 3rd party executable.
While the 3rd party tool HPDiags.exe is performing memory tests it will allocate all memory during the test. During this time the memory and CPU usage is very high, but once the memory tests are complete, the memory should be released.
It is recommended to change or disable the schedule for the "HP Instant Support Diagnostics Task" in the Symantec Management Console.
1. The following is provided at your responsibility to perform a full backup of the Symantec_CMDB database.
2. After the database backup please run the following SQL Query against the Symantec_CMDB database:
3. In the Symantec management console brows to the "Jobs and Tasks > Client Tasks > HP Client Manager > HP Instant Support Diagnostics Task" and edit or delete the schedule.
