Cause
Unknown at this time as symantec are still investigating this issue in order to rectify it in a future release of PCT.
Solution
In order to perform RTM where both the source and target machines are not running Windows XP SP2 64bit, the pull method will need to be used.
This can be achieved by either installing PCT onto the source machine and then manually running the PCTRTDestAgent executable, or by running through the following steps:
1. Create a directory to hold the files.
2. Place the “.\Altiris\PCT\PCTRTDestAgent.exe” file into the root of that directory.
3. Create a sub-folder called EN.
4. Place the “.\Altiris\PCT\EN\PCTResource.dll” file into that sub-folder.
5. Double-click the PCTRTDestAgent executable.
6. Steps 3 and 4 can be changed if you wish to use a different supported language.
