How to verify the version of each Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Server (SEEMS) component installed on a system

You wish to verify the current installed version of your SEEMS server and components


Solution



This can be done through either the SEE Manager or Windows Control Panel.

A. SEE Manager:

  1. In the left pane of the SEEMS console, click on the “Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Password”, then in the menu select Help > About > “SEE Management Password”. The version number and any Maintenance Pack and/or Hotfix applied will be listed here (ie Version: 8.2.1 MP6HF3).
  2. The same may be done for each of the following sub-components of “Symantec Endpoint Encryption Software Setup”:
    1. Framework
    2. Full Disk
    3. Removable Storage 

B. Windows Control Panel:

  1. From Windows Control Panel, go to "Add or Remove Programs". Select “Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Server”, then select "Click here for support information". The version number and any Maintenance Pack and/or Hotfix applied will be listed here (ie Version: 8.2.1 MP6HF3).
  2. The same may be done for each of the following installed SEE components:
    1. Symantec Endpoint Encryption Framework
    2. Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk Edition
    3. Symantec Endpoint Encryption Removable Storage
