How often is the time synched between the Deployment Server (DS) and AClient?
Deployment Server 6.9 and earlier.
If an Aclient is configured to use the “Synchronize Date/Time with Deployment Server” option, then it will synch its machines local time with the DS’s time everytime it connects to the DS, as it will be told to do this by the engine upon connection.
If the Aclient has been configured to be always connected to the DS, then the Aclient will reset its connection if any of the following actions are taken, as they cause the aclient to reconnect to the DS too:
Update inventory on active computers - 24hrs by default.
Update active client connections - every 8hrs by default.
Reset inactive client connections - every 8hrs by default.
These actions schedules can be configured via the DS Control Panel applet.
