Modification Type: Supplement.

Modification:
Symantec does not support saving catalogs to a remote filesystem such as NFS. Due to the nature of an NFS mount, there may be data corruption and data loss.  The NFS method for error checking is not as robust as a locally mounted file system, and errors due to data transfer may not be noticed.  This can result in corrupt data.  A stale NFS mount will also cause data corruption and possible database mismatches.  Many of the problems that could occur will not be immediately detectable, making the situation much more severe.
