Solution

Summary:

VSMV3SR1.exe - Storage Migrator for Windows 2000 v3.0 (SR1) Service Release 1 upgrade.
To upgrade:
1. Stop the VERITAS Remote Storage Service on each NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 server that it is running on.
2. Execute the VSMV3SR1.exe file on each server running the VERITAS Remote Storage Service. (i.e. media server, database server, and each managed server.)
3. Reboot the server if the install/upgrade indicates that it needs to be done at the end of the upgrade.

Note: The Storage Migrator for Windows 2000 v3.0 or Storage Migrator for Exchange v3.0 CDROM will need to be available if performing a fresh install.

VSMV3Ext.exe - Storage Migrator for Windows 2000 V3.0 Client Extensions upgrade (Mail Client Extension & File Retrieval Notification Client Extensions are included).
Note: The Client Extension upgrade will need to be executed on each client workstation.
Note: Workstations currently running V2.0 or V3.0 client extensions will continue to function with the Service Release 1 (SR1) upgrade.
