Problem
Multi-language design found in mail m_db' incorrectly causing valid target mail files, that are not multi-language, to NOT be archived.
Error
Event ID 41162 - Error: Multi-language design found in mail m_db [EVDG/SYMC!!mail\User.nsf]
Cause
If the ICON Note was present in the mail file but did not contain the $LANGUAGE field, then archive processing would fail for that mailbox.
Solution
This issue has been resolved in a Cumulative Hotfix for Enterprise Vault for Lotus Domino 9.0 SP2.

Symantec Corporation has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in earlier versions of the product(s) cited at the end of this article. Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.
There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time. However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article.
