Problem
If an item in the mail file has a $CreatedDate of type TIME_RANGE then it was not possible to archive that item.
If an item in the mail file contained a truncated file attachment, then it was not possible to archive that item.
Error
Event ID 41164: Error: Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
Cause
If an item in the mail file has a $CreatedDate of type TIME_RANGE then it was not possible to archive that item.
If an item in the mail file contained a truncated file attachment, then it was not possible to archive that item.
Solution
This issue has been resolved in a Cumulative Hotfix for Enterprise Vault for Lotus Domino 9.0 SP2.
