Issue



Maintenance has failed 10, Dump database failed is seen during the schedule maintenance of the Backup Exec application.

If manual maintenance is done this issue is not seen.

Cause



This may occur when a DLO (Desktop and Laptop Option) license was entered but the DLO software was not installed.

 


Solution



Check if DLO has been used in the Environment, and if not uninstall the DLO license from the Backup Exec application or add the DLO software if it is desired.

Scheduled maintenance should then run as expected.
