This hotfix can only be applied to the following versions of Enterprise Vault for:

9.0.2

Solution

What issue(s) does this hotfix resolve?
Changes to the stored procedure CreateArchiveFolder have resulted in a condition where if a folder structure contains a named folder which matches the root:
e.g. A Public folder root named Data with sub-folders, one of which is also named Data, or a file system target named Data with sub-folders also named Data
results in the SQL entries for these sub-folders not being properly enumerated. This can lead to issues viewing the folder structure in Archive Explorer.

Which files does this hotfix replace?

CreateArchiveFolder stored procedure in the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database.

How to Install this hotfix:
Pre-installation Steps
======================
Before upgrading the Enterprise Vault environment, back up all Enterprise Vault data in accordance with normal backup procedures.

See the "Backing up Enterprise Vault" chapter in the Administrator's Guide.

Once the vault store partitions have been backed up, the Storage service marks the relevant files as backed up, and this removes the entries from the WatchFile table. The storage service performs these tasks at preconfigured intervals. It is recommended to wait for the WatchFile table to reduce in size before proceeding with the upgrade. The usage report at http://evserver/enterprisevault/usage.asp can be used to check the number of files in the Awaiting Backup column.

This SQL modifies the CreateArchiveFolder stored procedure, it is highly recommended that the existing stored procedure be saved out prior to implimenting this change.
