Problem
Command Central Storage (CCS) fails to copy the Zone Set of a Brocade Switch.
Cause
CCS is unable to copy the Zone Set because the BrocadeMcDataExplorer only supports zone discovery and not zone management.
Solution
To enable CCS for zone management, change the method of discovery from the BrocadeMcdataExplorer to SMI-S. The difference is that instead of direct discovery of the switch, SMI-S gathers data from a host running the Brocade SMI Agent. A detailed explanation of the difference between the two discovery methods and step-by-step configuration instructions can be found in the Veritas CommandCentral Hardware and Software Configuration Guide.
