Issue



The Quick Book 2011 is blocked after upgrade from 11.0 to 12.1


Error



User will not be able to  login to the quick book. It freezes after entering credentials.


Cause



The SEP 12.1 blocks the quick books ports and the application itself.


Solution



Create the firewall rule to allow port number HTTP 55333 and 8019 on the server where there is a quick books database.

Also allow Port number from (55343 to 55347).

Create centralized exception policy for the Application exe for the Quick books to Ignore it as Action on the SEPM server.

Note: Enable firewall logging for every rule. The NTP Traffic logs on the server client will show what application its blocking in Amber.
