Missing WDE Status information on PGP Universal Server

When viewing the detailed list of PGP Whole Disk Encrypted disks on the reporting page (Consumers > Devices > WDE Disks), the PGP Universal Server does not display the name or ID of the WDE disk. The disk is also displayed as having an "Invalid" Status and an "Unknown" Type. Or the WDE status section is completely missing.
On PGP Universal Server 3.1.x and older:
If the client log upload in the Consumer policy (PGP Desktop -> General) has been disabled the PGP Universal Server will never get the status from the client.
On PGP Universal Server 3.2.1 and newer:
This feature was removed and will no longer show due to performance reasons in the Administration Console on this page in PGP Universal Server version 3.2.1 and Symantec Encryption Server 3.3.0 or later.
This is resolved by confirming or enabling the client log upload setting for the desired Consumer policy (if the WDE status field is still available)
Use the following steps to enable the client log setting:
1. Login to the PGP Universal Server admin interface.
2. Click Consumers > Consumer Policy and then select the desired policy.
3. On the General tab of the policy, place a checkmark next to Send client logs to PGP Universal...
4. Click OK to save the policy settings.
