How to remotely access to a system booted with Symantec Endpoint Recovery Tool (SERT) through Symantec PCAnywhere for example in a Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) where SERT  is used as Network bootstrap program (NBP).

Usually a Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) where SERT  is used as Network bootstrap program (NBP).


Cause



 

 

SERT 3.2.0.24 includes PCAnywhere Thin Client to enable remote control of the machine to be scanned and credentials are required.


Solution



The Symantec PCAnywhere Thin Client provides the following default account:

User: symantec
Password: recover
