Problem
Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) based restore of an Exchange 2010 mailbox fails with the error "The Exchange server was not found"
Error
Cause
This issue can come up if the 'Backup Exec Remote agent for Windows Systems' service on the Exchange server is not running under Local System Account.
Solution
Change the logon account for the 'Backup exec Remote Agent for Windows Systems' service on the Exchange server to Local System Account and rerun the restore job.
