Problem
Office Web Apps installed on SharePoint Server 2010 do not work after restore of the following service applications of Office Web Apps.
a) Excel Service Application\metadata
b) PowerPoint Service Application\metadata
c) Word Viewing Service\metadata
Environment
Backup Exec 2010 R2 or later
Backup Exec Agent for Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
Microsoft Office Web Apps
Solution
Manually create the following service applications again
a) Excel Service Application
b) PowerPoint Service Application
c) Word Viewing Service
