Scheduled tasks continue to run when disabled through RMS

Problem
Scheduled task lists/queries that are disabled in RMS remain enabled in the Windows Task Scheduler.
Environment
This issue has been seen in Windows 2008 SP2 and Windows 2008 R2 with both version 10.0 and 10.5
Cause
Symantec is currently investigating this issue.
Solution
Currently the only known solution is to disable the tasks via Windows task scheduler as well.
