Problem
Backup job targeted to Deduplication storage folder completes successfully however Verify or Duplicate job of that backup set fails intermittently with “0xe000810b - Physical Volume Library Drive not found" OR "The requested media was mounted, but it has been erased " errors.
After the duplicate job failure the data from the original backup set also gets corrupt and cannot be restored from.

Solution
A hotfix (TECH173790) is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Refer to the Related Articles section at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.
