Problem
Duplicate jobs created by policy might run on a different Managed Media Server (MMS) then the original backup job in a Central Admin Server Option (CASO) environment.
Error
Final error: 0xe0009444 - The requested source duplicate backup sets catalog record could not be found. Perhaps the media containing the source backup sets was previously deleted.
Final error category: Job Errors
Unable to determine ADAMM media identification. Catalog query failed.
Environment
Setup:
Central Admin Server Option (CASO) environment
Policy based backup and duplication jobs
Jobs created on Centralised Admin Server (CAS)
Jobs running on Managed Media Server (MMS).
This setup works fine as long the catalogs are centralised (shared) but in a situation where the catalogues are distributed (not shared) then the duplicate job will fail.
