Problem
Redirect restore of Virtual Machine to Vcenter fails with error "0xe000957e - Unable to create the new virtual machine".

Restore- VMVCB::\\VCenter or ESX Server Name \VCGuestVm\DataCenter Name\vm\machinename VMVCB::\\VCenter or ESX Server Name \VCGuestVm\DataCenter Name\vm\machinename Error writing file data.
Connection to the restore target has been lost. Operation canceled.
Cause
Account used in Backup Exec to perform a redirected restore does not have sufficient rights or permissions.
Solution
To resolve this issue, verify the account use to restore virtual machines to either the ESX or vCenter host has the proper permissions.
Document TECH129645 shows the proper permissions needed for backup and restore operations with the VMware Agent.
Now retry the Restore Job or Re run the Redirect Restore for the Virtual Machine and it should be successful.
