SEPM 12 database does not start - Assertation Failed 100904

Issue



The SEPM's database service does not start and you can't logging to SEPM.


Error



- You verified smc-server-0.log and found the following error:

Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory ([Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Database server not found)

- You checked err.log and found the following error: *** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 100904 [sem5] (11.0.1.2472)


Cause



 Hard Disk is full.


Solution



- The sem5.log may be corrupted. Try to follow the steps from TECH96159;

- If the procedure above does not work, perform a disaster recovery:
