Problem
Backups of Windows clients are completing with a status 1 as some files are skipped because they are in use.
Error
Activity monitor detailed status shows:

Environment
Windows 2008 although could occur on any version of Windows.
Cause
Policy type set to Standard instead of MS-Windows
Solution
Ensure the policy type for the backup is set to MS-Windows and not Standard.
