Problem
Symantec has annouced the End of Life process for Symantec IM Manager on Sept. 6, 2011.
Solution
Symantec has annouced it will be discontinuing delvopment for Symantec IM Manager on Sept. 6, 2011. This means that no new versions of IM Manager will be available. Support and hotfixes for IM Manager will still be available for a limit period after this date. Symantec may release suplemental builds or releases to address specific issues that are affecting customers.
For customers that have immediate questions on migrating from IM Manager to other resources, please contact your Symantec Sales Rep.
