Duplicate Backup from Deduplication Storage Folder to Tape/B2D fails with "0xe00084d4 - End of data set was unexpectedly encountered"

Problem
The Primary Backup has a failure due to a server reboot but continues to Backup the servers which are later in the resource order. The Duplicate Backup from Deduplication Storage Folder to Tape/B2D fails on the server which was rebooted and does not Backup rest of the servers from the original Backup set which were Backed up after the server which got rebooted during the primary backup job.
Error
0xe00084d4 - End of data set was unexpectedly encountered
Duplicate- Local Disk:
Unexpected end of backup set encountered on DDP:5.
V-79-57344-34004 - End of data set was unexpectedly encountered.
The connection to target system has been lost. Backup set canceled.
Cause
This may occur if the selection list of the primary backup job contains a resource for which Backup Exec provides GRT (Granular Restore Technology) capability.
Solution
Workaround:
- Disable GRT for that resource.
OR
2. Create a separate Selection List to Backup GRT resources and Duplicate them.
There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time. However, this particular issue is not currently scheduled for any release.
