This issue has been verified when the document is a (Delegated) Invitation where the delegator and delegatee are in different time zones and the item is an iCalendar item. The root cause of the issue is a slight corruption of the Universal Note ID (UNID) preventing the Created date of the document from being properly display or displayed at all.
This can be verified by viewing the document with NotesPeek.
This issue has been addressed in the following release:
Enterprise Vault 9.0.4 - Release Details
Enterprise Vault 10.0.1 - Release Details
To workaround this issue perform the following:
Move the document from the mailjrn.nsf into any other nsf file. Then copy the same document back to the mailjrn.nsf.
If the item is poison pilled you must remove the following fields via a notes agent in order for the task to reprocess these items:
EV26C5E2CCF2B9267C.PoisonPilled and EV26C5E2CCF2B9267C.Failures
Then allow the evlotusdominojournaling task to reprocess the item.
If the items still fails to archive there may be a more serious form of corruption on the document. Contact technical support for further analysis of the document.
Delegated Meeting Notices that were created in a different time zone are not being archived. As BNY sites span time zones there are a significant number items that get poison pilled.
