Problem
This hotfix can only be applied to the following versions of Enterprise Vault:
Enterprise Vault for Microsoft Exchange 8.0.5 and EV 9.0.0 through to EV 9.0.2
Environment
This hotfix should only be applied to environments utilizing Microsoft SQL 2005 onwards and should not be applied to Microsoft SQL 2000 environments.
Solution
What issue(s) does this hotfix resolve?
Errors 6727, 6796 and 7264 are generated in the Event log, caused by occasional SQL deadlocks against the Vault Store database during archiving
Which files does this hotfix replace?
None
How to Install this hotfix:
1. Stop all Enterprise Vault services.
2. Execute Etrack_2345599_usps_SavesetIndexAdditions.sql against ALL Vault Store databases.
3. Start all Enterprise Vault services.
How to Uninstall this hotfix:
1. Stop all Enterprise Vault services.
2. Execute Etrack_2345599_usps_SavesetIndexAdditions _undo.sql against ALL Vault Store databases.
3. Start all Enterprise Vault services.
