Problem
Under certain circumstances DTF file is not recreated when it should causing RS server to log errors
Error
Error “GetRevLastFull stored procedure did not return a valid revision number” appears on snapshot after SSM job is completed
Environment
Applies to RS 7.1 (build version 7.1.3919)
Solution
Attached are the archived Data1.cab packages (both 32 and 64 bit versions) that should replace RS Agent installation packages on the NS and RS servers in following locations:
NS server box:
32 bit RSA package:
\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\NSCap\Bin\Win32\X86\Recovery Agent Package
64 bit RSA package:
\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\NSCap\Bin\Win64\X64\Recovery Agent Package
RS Server if running on 32 bit platform:
RS Server box, 32 bit RSA package:
\Program Files\Altiris\Recovery Solution\Server\Agent\Package\x86
RS Server box, 64 bit RSA package:
\Program Files\Altiris\Recovery Solution\Server\Agent\Package\x64
If RS Server if running on 64 bit platform:
RS Server box, 32 bit RSA package:
\Program Files (x86)\Altiris\Recovery Solution\Server\Agent\Package\x86
RS Server box, 64 bit RSA package:
\Program Files (x86)\Altiris\Recovery Solution\Server\Agent\Package\x64
IMPORTANT!
After packages are updated administator should update distribution points for the replaced packages in the NS Console. In order to do that please go to RS Package page in the NS Console then select 'Update distribution points' and hit 'Apply'.
Existing problemaitc RS Agents can be reinstalled using 'RS Reinstall' policy.
