Problem
When enabling the advanced features, the tracing option appears within the Vault Administration Console (VAC). If creating a trace on 'Search and Indexing issues' NO trace for the 'IndexVolumesProcessor' will be captured.
Cause
The Indexing trace template incorrectly traces on 'IndexVolumeProcessor'. Note the missing 's'.
Solution
Simple Workaround:
1)Run DTrace.exe from Start menu
a)Open the Start menu, navigate to All Programs->Enterprise Vault->DTrace
Detailed solution:
1)Edit Search and Indexing issues.ini file
a)Navigate to the Search and Indexing issues.ini file. Located by default in (C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\Scripts for DTrace)
b)Open the file and edit "set EVIndeVolumeProcessor" to read "set EVIndexVolumesProcessor". Note the extra S.
c)Save and close the file. Restarting Services is not required.
