Query to identify services configured in domain with specific service account.
Follow these steps to build a query to find services which are configured with specific service account in domain.
Ø Open a RMS console
Ø Click on New Query icon from tool bar. This will show new window of Select data Source
Ø Expand bv-Control for windows data source
Ø Select services data source and click ok.
Ø New Query Builder windows will be launched.
Ø On Field Specification tab à inside Available Fields window expand Service Configuration folder container.
Ø Select Service Name click Add.
Ø Select Start Account click Add.
Ø By default Domain/workgroup Name, Machine Name, Display Name fields are added in selection. You can remove if not required.
Ø Select Filter Specification tab from query builder window.
Ø On Filter Specification tab à inside Available Fields window expand Service Configuration folder container.
Ø And select Start Account and click on Add
Ø This will prompt new window Filter term Definition
Ø Select Specific value from radio options. From drop down options select Contains.
Ø Type account name in specify a value field.
Ø Go to Scope tab on Query builder window.
Ø Select the appropriate scope or server from Active Directory and click on add scope.
Ø Click on OK.
Ø On Query Options select Grid and click on Run.
