Utimaco SSO Login not working when PGP Desktop is also installed

Issue



When Utimaco Safeguard Easy and PGP Desktop are installed on the same computer and Utimaco Safeguard Easy is used for whole disk encryption the Utimaco SSO login no longer works. The User must enter his login credentials manually at the Windows login screen.


Solution



To resolve this issue, use the PGP Desktop MSI customization switches during installation to exclude the SSO and WDE features of PGP Desktop.

For example:

msiexec /I pgpdesktop.msi PGP_INSTALL_SSO=0 PGP_INSTALL_WDE=0
