The system could not connect to RAM Server. Please check the 'Settings\Questionnaire' page to correct the problem. System message: SQL Database could not be found. Please contact your administrator. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection)


Cause



This error comes up if the Symantec Response Assessment Service is running under the context of a local system account .


Solution



Follow these steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Click Start > Run and type services.msc, and then press ENTER.
  2. In the details pane, right-click the Symantec Response Assessment Service
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the Log On tab, and click This account
  5. Click Browse, and then specify a Domain Admin Service Account user account in the Select User dialog box. When you are finished, click OK.
  6. Type the password for the user account in Password and in Confirm password.
  7. Click OK
  8. Restart the service and try to access the questionnaire again.
