Option to specify multiple data streams is not available on CAS in the restore job properties

Problem
Backup Exec provides an option to use multiple data streams for Oracle and DB2 databases backup and restore. This option can be specified from 'Device and Media' tab in Backup job and from 'Device' tab in the restore job. However this option is not available in the restore job if the server is the Central Administration Server.
Solution
Workaround:
Run the restore from Managed Media Server (MMS) server in case multiple data streams option has to be used in the restore job.
Symantec Corporation has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.
There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time. However, this particular issue is not currently scheduled for any release.
