Problem
When creating conditional rules in Symantec Mail Security for Domino (SMSDOM) or Mail Security for Domino Multi Platform Edition (SMSDOM-MPE), the semicolon separator ";" does not work, i.e. the rule is not applied to messages matching its conditions.
Cause
In Symantec Mail Security for Domino version 8.0.7, the "Condition" field was changed to accept regular expressions.
Solution
When creating SMSDOM Content Filtering (CF) rules which are applied "Conditionally", please do not use the semicolon ";" as a separator for lists of recipients, domains etc., since the rule will not be applied to matching entries.
Instead, use the "pipe" OR separator "|" to delimit all entries in the Condition section, as in the example below:

Note: the pipe "|" delimited list must not contain any blank spaces.
