Problem
To which version of Symantec Enterprise Vault (tm) can this hotfix be applied?
This Hotfix can be applied to EV 10.0.0
Issue will be fixed in the following Enterprise Vault releases:
EV 9.0.3 and EV 10.0.1
Error
Groups defined as 'ACL Only' in Domino are not inherited automatically in the Domino archives ACL, manual addition fails as well with error 'Accounts not found'
This does not allow the usage of 'ACL Only' groups to assign permissions on EV Domino archives
Solution
Which file does this hotfix replace?
- EVDominoLibrary.dll
How to Install this Hotfix:
- Stop all Enterprise Vault services on the EV Server
- Rename the existing 'EVDominoLibrary.dll' located in the Enterprise Vault folder to 'EVDominoLibrary.TECH172620'
- Copy the file named 'EVDominoLibrary.dll' of this Hotfix into the Enterprise Vault folder
- Start all Enterprise Vault services on the EV Server
