What are the requirements for installing and running a network-based Shared Insight Cache server?

The network-based Shared Insight Cache (SIC) server stores its cached information in main system memory in order to improve performance of client lookups. A Shared Insight Cache server installed to a 32-bit version of Windows is limited to approximately 100 simultaneous client connections. It is best practice to install Shared Insight Cache on a 64-bit Windows platform if you plan for 100 or more clients to use it.
