CPU Usage Remains at 100% When Saving an Attachment in Outlook

Problem
When saving an Outlook attachment to a shared Windows folder, CPU usage reaches 100% and does not decrease.
Error
CPU usage at 100% - No error messages
Environment
Windows 7 64-bit
PGP Desktop 10.1.2
Outlook 2010
Windows shared folder
Cause
This can be caused by a conflict with the PGP NetShare component.
Solution
This issue can be resolved by disabling the PGP NetShare component.
1. Open the Windows Registry Editor.
2. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW6432Node > PGP Corporation > PGP > set PGP_INSTALL_NETSHARE to 0
3. Unregister the PGP NetShare dll by using the following commands:
Regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32\PGPfsshl.dll
Regsvr32 /u c:\windows\syswow64\PGPfsshl.dll
