Problem
Resource credentials fail on remote server even after the trust relationship is established and the account used is proper.
Error
0xe0000383 - Failed to log on to Microsoft Windows. Ensure that your logon credentials are correctly entered and that they meet the following minimum requirements to log on to a Windows computer:
Cause
This is caused if the Remote Agent on the remote server is updated and the Media server is not.
This issue can be generally caused in a CAS-MMS environment, where the remote server is publishing to multiple MMS servers and some of the servers are not updated.
Solution
Update the media server and ensure that the trust is established between the Media server and the Remote server.
The certificates can be viewed from the Remote Agent utility's Security Tab.
