Issue

Lots of the same viruses are detected continually in risk logs with the same location. But they didn't really happen.

Cause

There're many *.tmp files under C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Data\Inbox\ agentinfo.

The files will be processed again and again, but can't be deleted. So the risks are always reported to SEP client and manager.

Solution

1. Delete the *.tmp files under C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Data\Inbox\ agentinfo manually.

2. Go to menu Start - Administrative Tools - Services.

3. Restart service "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager".
