Problem
Inventory scripts ran manually on client-side Linux machines return two errors "start=invalid GUID" and "end=invalid GUID".
Error
"start=invalid GUID" and "end=invalid GUID".
Environment
Linux/Unix
Cause
These errors can be safely ignored. They do not mean a thing when running scripts manually. When the scripts are called by the inventory code these issues do not occur. Also Inventory data is still collected and inserted into the database for viewing within the console.
Solution
These errors can be safely ignored.
