Solution

can safely delete the trace files that are created by BV Control SQL Server, These trace files are created as a result of the events that you have configured for auditing on that target server.

These trace files are temporary in nature and get created when data is moved from the trace database to the repository.

Make sure that the sql agent job that clears the trace files is enabled on the target sql server. The sql agent job name is "Bindview_delete_trace_files_job" . This job is responsible for clearing us the trace files, you can also manually delete them.
