When using an LTO-4 tape device with hardware encryption, Archive jobs fail with "The data being read from the media is inconsistent."
The data being read from the media is inconsistent.
An inconsistency was encountered on the storage media in *device*
Backup Exec Archive option with Hardware Encryption on LTO-4 tape devices.
Hardware encryption is enabled.
Enable software encryption, or disable encryption for jobs which will contain archived data.

This issue is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in the next major revision of the product.
