How to configure the number of days after which inactive clients will be deleted from the SEPM database on SEPM 12.1 RU1

Issue



In Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 RTM (12.1.671.4971), it was possible to change the number of days before an inactive client would be deleted from the database by editing a setting found in Local Site Properties. In Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 RU1 (12.1.1000.157), this setting has been moved.


Solution



The settings is now available in the domain properties of the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager:

1. Open the SEPM Console
2. Select Admin on the left
3. Browse to Domains at the bottom
4. Right-click on the domain and select Edit Domain Properties
