KNOWN ISSUE: Creating new Automation Policy creates error and a warning-level message is logged

Technical Solution


Issue



When you create a new automation policy, an error is generated and warning messages are logged. However, after you create the policy you can load it, change settings, and save it without the error recurring.

Steps to duplicate:

1. Navigate to Manage -> Automation Policies 
2. Click "New Policy" 
3. click OK to create the policy

Solution



This issue has been reported to Symantec Development team. This issue should be addressed in a later release.

After creation you can load, the policy, change the settings and save the policy without re-occurance of the error.
