KNOWN ISSUE: Symantec.Generators7.ASDK.TaskService hangs while loading ## out of ## tasks

Problem
When the Symantec.Generators7.ASDK.TaskService is attempting to gather the task information from the SMP the process will hang.
Error
No error messages are generated in the logs or on screen.
Environment
Workflow 7.1 Service Pack 2
Cause
Defect, 2648397.
The list of tasks returned from the SMP server contains identically named tasks. This causes the generator to get stuck in a loop.
Solution
This issue will be resolved in a future version of Workflow.
As a point fix, an updated .dll file has been created for this issue. Please contact Symantec Technical Support to aquire this update.
