LiveUpdate Administrator 2.x low disk space notification emails go into the Outlook Junk folder

Problem
LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) 2.x "low disk space" notification emails unexpectedly go into the Outlook Junk folder, instead of to the Inbox.
Cause
This behavior is caused by an issue within Microsoft Office. A patch is available from Microsoft to resolve it.
Solution
This issue is reported as resolved by applying the following patch: Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Junk Email Filter (KB2596560). This update was released on October 10, 2011 for Outlook 2007 and is available via the following link (the patch is not OS specific). It is available for download at the following location:
