Windows XP image deployment failed on inbuild Windows 7 machines error : Retargeting has been cancelled because some critical drivers are missing

Issue



Unable to deploy images on Preinstalled Windows 7 HP 6200 machines. Using the Deployanywhere where it error out as Retargeting has been cancelled because some critical drivers are missing.


Error



Console displays that the job failed. Later on when checked the Deployanywhere.txt found the following error :
Error while retargeting the system.
 Error:
Retargeting has been cancelled because some critical drivers are missing.

Environment



NS 7.1SP1
Deployanywhere.exe version and build is 12.0.0.4112


Cause



Under the BIOS option was set to SATA Emulation setting --- AHCI


Solution



manully added all the drives in DriversDB folder and given full access to that folder after that copied all the drivers at  \\NS\Deployment\Task Handler\ bootwiz\Platforms\Winpe2\x64\x86\Drivers\ Custom and update configuration under the drivers under setting - all setting - Deployment and Migration - Drivers - Drivers

finally there is a setting related to BIOS SATA Emulation setting  change that from AHCI to IDE Mode and then assign the job to image the machine.
