Problem

Unable to complete upgrade on the Customer or Custodian database causing Discovery Accelerator to be unusable for searching.

Error

EVENT ID: 64
APP ATM - Error upgrading a Customer.
Install Thread - worker thread (0)
Cause: String or binary data would be truncated.

Cause

The tblAddressUser table in the Compliance Accelerator (CA) Customer or Discovery Accelerator (DA) Custodian Manager database contains a column that contains display names. When a display name exists that is longer than 100 characters, the above error is thrown during the upgrade attempt as the column is set to only contain a maximum of 100 characters.

This issue has been addressed in the following release:
