VCS WARNING V-16-1-12021 Error - syntax error (.) in file .\main.cf:4

Problem
While running the Veritas Cluster Server Configuration Wizard, on the Configure Security Service Option under the "Use VCS User Privileges" with a user with Special Charaters. (example shown is using (.) other spcial charaters cause same issue.
Error
On a command line running the hasys -state the output shows "Stale_ADMIN_WAIT" or "ADMIN_WAIT" "V-16-10-92"
After running the hacf -verify command:
Solution
Edit the C:\Program Files\Veritas\cluster server\conf\config\main.cf and add " " around Usernames and Administrators that have special charaters. This file must be edited on all Nodes in the cluster.
