In case the Lotus Domino server is configured to enforce TLS/SSL on outgoing SMTP connections the SMTP communication will fail. No emails will be send to the PGP Universal.
"TLS negotiation with [10.0.0.1] failed: the remote system violated the TLS connection protocol"
This issue is specific to Lotus Domino that use "negotiated SSL" on the outbound SMTP connection.
There is a problem in the SSLv3 comformity of PGP Universal which will be addressed in a later version.
A fix for this will be provided in some version after PGP Universal 3.2.1.
