Problem
"HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error:cannot access the RA_webclient URL" while opening the Response Assessment Module (RAM) Web Console.
Environment
Windows server 2008 R2, IIS version 7.5.
RAM product version is CCS 10.5 with PCU 2011-4
Cause
This issue may occur if the ASP.NET role has not been installed for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
Solution
Follow these steps to install ASP.Net with IIS 7.x
- Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.
- In Roles Summary, click the Web server role.
- Scroll towards the bottom and select 'Add Role Services'
- On the Select Role Services page, note the preselected role services that are installed by default, and then select the following additional role services:
- ASP.NET
- .NET Extensibility
- Request Filtering
- ISAPI Extensions
- On the Summary of Features to Install page, confirm your selections, and then click Install.
- On the Installation Results page, confirm that your installation of the Web Server (IIS) role and required role services completed successfully, and then click Close.
